Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Abhishek Bubna Academy ("we") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use Engulfing Bull. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the IT Rules. For users in the EEA/UK, we observe equivalent GDPR principles where applicable.
2. Data We Collect
(a) Account: name, email, hashed password / Passkey credentials, region. (b) Behavioral analytics: lesson watch-time, mock-trade actions, discipline scores, in-app navigation. (c) AI Doubt Solver inputs: messages, attachments, contextual chart references. (d) Payment metadata: order ID, GST identifiers (we do NOT store card numbers — these are tokenized by Razorpay/Stripe). (e) Device: browser, OS, IP, device type.
3. How We Use Data
To deliver and improve the Service, generate Readiness Scores, detect fraud, send transactional and (with consent) marketing communications, and meet legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We share data with subprocessors only as needed: payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe), infrastructure (Supabase, Cloudflare), email (Resend), analytics (self-hosted), and AI providers for the Doubt Solver under contractual non-training terms. We do not sell personal data.
5. Storage & Security
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Primary storage is in Supabase (Mumbai/Singapore region for India accounts). Passkey public keys and metadata are stored; private keys never leave your device.
6. Your Rights
You may access, correct, port, or delete your personal data via Settings → Privacy, or by emailing connect@engulfingbull.com. We respond within 30 days as required by the DPDP Act.
8. Retention
Account data is retained for the life of the Account plus 12 months. Behavioral and usage logs are retained for 24 months. Payment records are retained for 7 years per Indian tax law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at users under 18.
10. Changes
We will notify you via email and in-app banner of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
